Polish Meat Patties W/ Peas and Carrots

If you have leftovers they are good in sandwiches cold or reheated. This recipe can make 13 Patties. If  patties are sticking too much you can add 1-2 TBSP of water to your patties.

Preparation

  1. Peel your Potatoes,  take off all the skin and add them into a pot of boiling water , Making sure to salt your water as well.
  2. Grab your white bread and place it in a bowl with water, gently pressing it down to help it soak up the water.
  3. In your mixing bowl add in your Turkey, Beef , Pork, 1 Egg and your chopped Onion along with ½ TSP Salt and ¼ TBS Pepper. Mix with your  hands until well combined . (3-5 min)
  4. Now you can check on your bread. Once you see that it is mushy , You can squeeze some (not all) of the water out and add to your mixing bowl. Continue to mix until well combined (2-3) Min.
  5. Now you can set aside a small bowl of water for your hands to help the patties not stick to you. It also helps you form the patties and for them to be smooth.
  6. To form the patties, You can roll them in the palm of your hand , shaping them into ovals or circles and squashing them down just a bit flat.
  7. Now you can get your frying pan and cooking oil , coat the bottom of the pan completely with the oil and let it heat up on the stove.
  8. Once you've finished forming your patties and your frying pan is done heating up , You can place your patties in the oil on medium heat until they are golden brown on both sides.
  9.  Now you can grab your Frozen Peas and Carrots and put them into a pot with ½ Cup of water along with your 1 tbsp of butter and salt and pepper to your taste.
  10. Once your peas and carrots are fully cooked, sprinkle a bit of flour with a little more water and mix until it thickens up . Let simmer for about 30 seconds.
  11. Once your potatoes are done you can serve !
